2:00 PM  –  3:00 PM

On Tuesday, May 23rd, visitors who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing can join us for a free tour in American Sign Language! Experience the Mütter's famous collection in depth and learn about anatomy, pathologies, and medicine from the 19th century to today.

Please note the below to ensure a safe and informative visit:

  • Strollers are not permitted in the gallery spaces. There is limited space available in our coat room for storage. Please plan accordingly.

  • All staff and visitors over the age of two years old are encouraged to wear a mask or face covering over their nose and mouth regardless of vaccination status.

  • Out of respect for the individuals in our collections, no photography or filming of any kind is permitted in the main Museum. However, you may take photos of the exhibits in our lobby area, Thomson Hall (located to the right of the marble staircase), and in the Benjamin Rush Medicinal Plant Garden.

PLEASE NOTE: The College of Physicians of Philadelphia reserves the right to photograph or record the experience for marketing or promotional use.
